Ogongo Music School was born from a vision to uplift school dropouts, particularly those impacted by financial struggles in Homa Bay County, Kenya. Starting with just a piece of land, our founders aimed to provide a second chance through music education. Today, we strive to empower these young individuals with skills in brass, choral, and traditional music, alongside life skills and therapy, despite the lack of a teaching hall and sufficient instruments. With a growing need for sponsorship to support our students and partners to build infrastructure, we are committed to transforming lives and restoring hope, seeking as many sponsors as possible to make this dream a reality
To create a thriving community where school dropouts in Homa Bay County, Kenya, overcome financial hardships through music education, transforming their lives with skills that inspire hope and sustainable livelihoods.
Ogongo Music School is dedicated to providing accessible music education, including brass, choral, and traditional music, to financially disadvantaged youth. With only land to start, we aim to build a teaching hall and acquire instruments, relying on sponsorships and partnerships to empower students with life skills, therapy, and opportunities for a brighter future.
